How do I book my exam?

Booking Your Examination Online

To book your examination online please visit the Exams section within your course and click the "Book your exam activity". You will then be taken to our online shop to book your exam:

|| If you paid for your exams upfront when enrolling with SHEilds exam credit will not be automatically applied at checkout or during the booking process, instead please contact our exams department to book your exam.

Booking Your Examination Directly Or Via Bank Transfer

If you wish to book your examination with a member of our examination team directly or wish to make payment via Bank Transfer, please contact exams@sheilds.org.

|| In order to book your examination you must be have an active enrolment on the course. You must also be clear of any payment plans arranged directly with SHEilds. Students who opted to use external payment methods such as Klarna and MobiCred can book their examination at any point.

When will I receive my certificate?

NEBOSH Certificates

It can take up to 20-25 working days from the official results date for us to receive your certificate in our UK office. Once we have your certificate, we will email you with delivery options.

All NEBOSH certificates are sent to our UK office.

NEBOSH National Diploma and NEBOSH National Environmental Diplomas are sent directly to students in the UK by NEBOSH.

IOSH and IEMA Certificates

It can take around 4-6 week to arrive in UK office

If you are based near our South African or Dubai office, your certificate will be sent there for easier dispatch.

Once your certificate has arrived at your local SHEilds office we will contact you to arrange delivery or collection from our office.

NVQ

E-certification will be sent to you around 4 weeks after completion has been confirmed.

Question 4

Do I have to pay again when rebooking an exam?

Yes, you will need to pay the exam registration fee again when rebooking as you will be re-registered with NEBOSH.

Question 5

Can I rebook my exam whilst waiting for the outcome of an EAR?

Accepted Answer

Learners who choose to re-register for the next available exam whilst awaiting their EAR (Enquiry about results) may do so if they wish. However, NEBOSH advise that you wait to receive the EAR results before rebooking as refunds of a future booking is not guaranteed. | In the instance where the EAR outcome is successful, the learner will receive a full refund of the EAR request fee.

How do I confirm if my exam booking and payment was successful?

To check that you have been enrolled on an exam successfully or to confirm if your payment was successful varies depending on how you booked your examination.

Online Bookings

Once you have completed your online booking and payment was successful your order will appear as “Processing” on your account.

Your order will update from "Processing" to "Complete", and you will be notified via an automated email, once our examination team have added you to exams registration list.

If the booking was unsuccessful the order will show as “Failed” or "Pending Payment". An email can be sent to exams@sheilds.org to enquire for assistance on the failed booking.

Email Bookings

Our examination department will provide you with the exam information, registration fees and payment options via email if you'd prefer. Once you have chosen your examination date and made payment via one of the payment methods provided in their email, please inform our examination team.

|| Note, if you transfer funds and do not inform us that you have made payment, you will not be enrolled on the examination, as examinations are not automatically booked by SHEilds upon receipt of funds made via bank transfer. Therefore, you must inform us once you have made payment.

Once you have confirmed payment by email and we have verified that we have received the funds, we will enrol you on the examination and send you confirmation of booking via email.
