What is the pass mark for my NEBOSH exam?

NEBOSH Certificate Exam Pass Marks

You must score at least 45% in order to pass the following online written exams:

• NEBOSH National General Certificate (NG1/GNC1)
• NEBOSH International General Certificate) (IG1/GIC1)
• NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate (FSC1)
• NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate (EMC1)
• NEBOSH National Construction Certificate. (CN1)
• NEBOSH International Construction Certificate. (CI1)

You must score at least 60% in order to pass the following practical examinations:

• NEBOSH National General Certificate (GNC2 – 2025 specification)
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (GIC2 – 2025 specification)

You must score 100% to pass the following practical examinations:

• NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate (FSC2)
• NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate (EMC2)
• NEBOSH National General Certificate (NG2 – 2018 specification)
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IG2 – 2018 specification)

You must score at least 60% to pass the NEBOSH Process Safety Management certificate. (PSM1)

NEBOSH Diploma Exam Pass Marks

You must score at least 50% on each exam unit for the below:

• NEBOSH International Diploma
• NEBOSH National Diploma
• NEBOSH International Environmental Diploma (IDEM)
• NEBOSH National Environmental Diploma (NDEM)

You must score at least 45% to pass ED1.
